All of our doctors are experienced licensed Canadian physicians, who practice a wide range of medicine, from primary care to hospital settings, right here in Ontario. They are available for medical advice, prescriptions, refills, medical notes, specialist referrals and more.

Dr. Murtuza Khoja – MD 

Dr Khoja completed his residency at the University of Manitoba, and moved to Toronto to practice in 2007. His practice included all ages from newborns to the elderly, and has a special interest on acute and urgent care, and is one of the founding partners of Pulse Urgent Care, our physical urgent care Centres, as well as PulseOnCall.com.

Dr. Ikram Syed – MD

Undergraduate Psychology Major, went on to complete Medical school at UNIBE and post graduate training in Family Medicine through the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM). Actively involved in volunteering with the homeless and marginalized communities locally as well as internationally in disaster and refugee zones. Founding partner at Pulse Urgent Care.

Dr. Sameea Bajwa – MD

Dr. Bajwa is a family physician, MD CCFP. She completed her medical residency in Queens University in Kingston, ON. She has experience practising medicine in Oakville, Milton and Mississauga with patients ranging in age from newborns to the elderly. Beyond fluency in English, she speaks Hindi, Hungarian, Norwegian and Urdu

Dr. Kannan Krishnar – MD

Dr. Kannan Krishnar graduated from of University of Toronto med school and completed residency at Scarborough General Hospital. He is a compassionate and veteran physician in practice since 1997. Practice includes all ages from newborn to elderly. He has special Interests acute care and chronic care.
When he’s not consulting patients online he also does prenatal and palliative care.

Dr. Ayesha Sohail – MBChB, MRCGP

Dr. Sohail is a family physician. She completed her MBChB from University of Birmingham, UK. She completed her Speciality training from the UK before moving to Canada in 2017. Her patients range from newborns to the elderly. She has interests in community paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi.

Dr. Ali Rasheed – Family Physician, MD CCFP CCBOM MFOMI

Dr Rasheed is an established and highly skilled physician with over 17 years experience in family medicine and emergency medicine , with a special interest in occupational medicine . He is hard worker, motivated and practicing patient center environment. He has served as a family physician with part time emergency medicine at Western Memorial Regional Hospital In Newfoundland and Labrador prior to coming to Ontario . He is a member of the Royal College of Physician of Ireland / Faculty of Occupational Medicine, and a Certificant of Canadian Board of Occupational Medicine .

Dr. Eriny Shams – MD

Dr. Eriny Shams graduated from Ross University in 2010. She did her training in family medicine in Michigan in 2013. Her interests include emergency medicine , urgent care and missionary work . Dr Shams has travelled to Ethiopia, Kenya and Southern Africa on mission trips. She enjoys procedures and rural emergency medicine . She is currently working at multiple COVID assessment centres in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and multiple urgent cares.

Dr. Kamran Ahmad – MD

Dr Kamran Ahmad or “Kameron” has been serving our community since 2015. Born and raised in the GTA, he’s Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. While in training he was the Chief Resident at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and is our resident “broski”. When he’s not working at PulseOnCall, he has a busy family practice, and has a special interest in urgent care. He sees patients from newborns to the geriatric population.

Prescriptions & Refills

Prescriptions should not require you to ask yourself, “How do I find a walk-in clinic near me?” At Pulse on Call, our doctors are able to provide online prescriptions and prescription refills completely through virtual appointments. No more searching for an empty waiting room.

Routine Illnesses

Our online doctors are also available if you feel you may be ‘under the weather,’ or sick with what you believe to be a routine illness like a cold or the flu.
